We had just finished a last-minute attempt to reach Mt. Rainier’s base camp at 10,000 ft. - Camp Muir. Beginning too late in the day and watching the fog roll in to create total white-out conditions ultimately sent us back down the mountain that day. But a week later we made it to Camp Muir, fog free! I grabbed this shot of Paradise Inn just as we were wrapping up our day on the mountain.
